Why Quilled Jewelry?
Quilled jewelry is:
1. Extremely LIGHT WEIGHT & very easy on the wearer.
2. TARNISH & FADE PROOF.
3. ECO-FRIENDLY & BIODEGRADABLE.
4. Although time & labour intensive, relatively INEXPENSIVE for the intricacy of the designs.
5. Most Importantly, Quilled jewelry has a UNIQUE CHARM to itself. The concentric layers of the coils impart a look that no other jewelry can emulate. With the application of non-toxic varnish, the jewelry is as sturdy as any other.
How to care for quilled jewelry?
Although the jewelry pieces are waterproofed, it is not advisable to wear them while bathing or swimming.
A bit of rain or water does no harm. Just pat it with a Paper towel & blow dry it for a minute. If it is still damp, leave it under a fan to dry.
Do not meddle with jewellery when wet.
Please Note : Since all the jewellery pieces are handmade, there might be a slight difference from what you see in the pictures, which only adds to the uniqueness of the jewellery.
I try my best to photograph the colors of the pieces as precisely as possible, however there might be a slight variation in them depending on the browser or monitor you're using.
